Meet Dr. Boraz
Dr. Boraz is an American Board
Certified Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, he earned his dental degree in
1975 at the University of Missouri. He completed his Pediatric Dentistry specialty training and hospital
residency in 1977 at the University of Missouri and The Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. For twenty
years, he served as a Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and
Director of the Dental Service at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Boraz has published over 30
scientific articles in professional journals and has lectured on a number of topics in Pediatric Dentistry on a
local, state, regional, national, and international level.
Dr. Boraz entered the private practice of Pediatric Dentistry in Douglas County, Colorado in 1996. He
continues his quest for excellence in patient care and constantly incorporates new advancements in treatment for
the benefit of the children he is privileged to serve. He has served as a leader in many professional
organizations. Dr. Boraz is a recent Past-President of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. He is a
Fellow of the American College of Dentists, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and a recipient
of the Distinguished Service Award from the Southwestern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Boraz has been
selected as one of America's Top Dentists by the Consumers' Research Council of America and selected as one of
Denver's Top Dentists by 5280 Magazine. He also teaches part-time in the Pediatric Dentistry residency program
at The Denver Children's Hospital.
Dr. Boraz, his wife, Janet, and their two children, Jonathan and Katie, reside in Douglas County. They enjoy
the active outdoor opportunities in Colorado, especially skiing, snowmobiling, hiking in the mountains, and
sports.
