At Boraz Pediatric Dentistry, we are extremely grateful to our patients and families for their continued confidence and trust placed in us and the services we provide. We are also deeply committed to serving our community as model citizens. We take our responsibilities in this area very seriously.
Every year, our team adopts several projects to enhance the opportunities for children who may not have the same opportunities to reach their maximum potential as other children. We have worked with 9News through their annual Back to School drive to provide children in need with essential school supplies to enhance their educational experience and to become the best they can be. We have partnered with The Children’s Hospital on a toy drive to provide gifts to hospital patients during the holiday season. Our dedicated staff greatly enjoys participating in the Halloween festivities at the Wildlife Experience. In addition to the fun children have exploring the exhibits and trick or treating, we have the unique opportunity to provide oral health education to children and parents and answer questions for thousands of participants.
We would also like to recognize and express our thanks and admiration for other outstanding individuals and organizations which help make our community great. A special thanks to our very generous friends at Red Robin Castle Rock: the wonderful General Manager Dann Lascala and Manager Chris Jones; Red Robin Parker Crown Point: the terrific GM Rene Padilla and Manager Kevin Sheran and the General Manager of Corner Star Red Robin, the fabulous Tiffany Alley for partnering with us to provide special treats for our patients. This greatly enhances the overall dental experience so that we may help the children we are privileged to serve achieve optimum oral health and reach their full potential in life. It still remains true that it takes an entire community to raise a child!

Sealants: A Critical Component of Preventive Dentistry For Your Child
Dental sealants are an excellent and cost effective preventive measure to protect your child from dental caries (tooth decay). Sealants are a clear or tooth colored resin (plastic) material that bonds to the grooves of chewing surfaces of back teeth, creating a barrier against food and bacteria that cause decay. Research indicates that a majority of cavities in children under age 15 develop on the chewing surface of molars. Sealants protect these surfaces significantly reducing the risk of cavities. The application of sealants is quick and comfortable. With proper care, sealants can last for years and help protect your child throughout their most cavity-prone time.
Recent stories in the news have brought to light some possible health concerns regarding materials concerning Bisphenol-A. Bisphenol-A is contained in a number of products and materials. While it is true that Bisphenol-A may be present in some dental sealants, at Boraz Pediatric Dentistry, we only utilize UltraSeal XT for our dental sealants. Rest assured, UltraSeal XT contains absolutely NO Bisphenol-A and is completely safe as well as effective. We, at Boraz Pediatric Dentistry, are deeply concerned about and dedicated to the safety and well being of your child. We continually evaluate the safety and efficacy of all of our materials and procedures for your peace of mind. Technology is a very important component in providing quality dental and oral health care. We invite you to learn about some new and exciting technologies we are proud to feature in our practice in the Technology section under the Our Offices button. For example, important advances in digital radiography (x-rays) enhance our ability to provide your child with essential diagnostic information while maximizing safety. Digital x-rays reduce x-ray exposure by up to 90%! In addition, digital x-rays help to protect the environment by eliminating chemicals required for the development of conventional x-ray films. Quicker, safer, more comfortable, and environmentally friendly, digital x-rays are an amazing benefit for your child!
